David’s career started in the aviation industry as a apprentice at world renowned Marshalls of Cambridge, where aviation standard Mechanical and Fabrication Skills / techniques where schooled and ingrained for life, although a great career lay ahead in Aviation, David’s dream from a young boy was to work in Formula 1, though dogged determination David was handed his dream, a mechanics role with the Benetton F1 test team  at the tender age of 21, living the dream for 10 years and 2 double world championships with Fernando Alonso and the Renault F1 Team, it was time for a new challenge. The Middle East (Bahrain) and building a classic & supercar collection plus supporting infrastructure was the next step and the most challenging to date, building solid relationships with trusted dealers and auction houses  was vital to being successful in identifying the best examples at the correct value of each car, ranging from the iconic Mclaren F1 Road car to the legendry classic Mini, this has given David experience on high value car investment and purchasing, add to this the mechanical knowledge / background, that also includes  complete bare shell restorations on Aston Martins, Jaguar E types, Classic Mini’s and Porsche 911’s  you really do get the complete package.  This is how Classic Hangar was born.
