Our Story

Based in Norfolk, Classic Hangar is led by David Hyatt, whose career spans Aviation engineering, Formula 1 and high-value classic car collections. After beginning his career at Marshalls of Cambridge, David moved into Formula 1, spending ten years with the Benetton and Renault F1 teams and contributing to two World Championships.
 

David later managed a major classic and supercar collection in Bahrain, gaining extensive expertise in sourcing and valuing rare investment-grade vehicles — from the McLaren F1 to the classic Mini.
 

With hands-on experience in complete bare-shell restorations, David built Classic Hangar on a foundation of engineering precision and deep collector insight.
